GARDEN HOSE
Dispose of in the garbage. Garden hoses are not recyclable and should not be placed in curbside recycling. They tangle recycling sorting machines.
GIFT WRAP/WRAPPING PAPER
Clean wrapping paper without foil/shiny paper is accepted for recycling at all facilities. No foil/shiny paper, ribbons, bows or tissue paper accepted.
GLASS
Any glass bottles or jars which held a food or beverage can be recycled. Any color.
GRASS CLIPPINGS See YARD WASTE
GREASE
Dispose of in the garbage after solidifying.
GREETING CARDS
Can be recycled at BCSWMD facilities if there is no glitter or foil on the card. Unused can be donated to the Little Red School House for reuse by Bartholomew County educators.
GROCERY BAGS
Paper: Accepted for recycling at all BCSWMD facilities. Must be clean and dry.
Plastic: Check with local retailers for recycling programs. Not accepted for recycling at any BCSWMD facility.
