TELEVISIONS
Televisions and computer monitors are accepted for recycling at the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center and the Bartholomew County Landfill during regular hours. Larger TVs should go to the landfill. There is a $20 per item fee. Due to space limitations at the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center, projection televisions should go to the landfill for recycling.

Dispose at the Bartholomew County Landfill during regular hours.

TISSUE PAPER
Tissue paper is not recyclable due to the fibers being too short. Reuse for wrapping gifts or craft projects. Dispose of in garbage.
TOILETS
Check with trash hauler for heavy trash collection or bring to the Bartholomew County Landfill for disposal.
TONER
Accepted via the Tox-Away Program at the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center Monday - Friday 7:30-4:30. No businesses.

TOYS
Plastic toys are not recyclable even if they have the recycling symbol. Consider donating toys in good condition to charity or thrift shops. Dispose of in garbage.

TYPEWRITERS
Non-electric or Metal body: scrap metal at the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center or Bartholomew County Landfill.
Electric or plastic body: accepted for electronic recycling at the Columbus/Bartholomew Recycling Center or Bartholomew County Landfill.
TYVEK ENVELOPES
DuPont™ Tyvek® is made from 100% high-density polyethylene (HDPE). For this reason, Tyvek® or products made from Tyvek® can be mechanically recycled into products such as underground cable protection piping, automotive parts, blown film, packaging cores and trays. Products made from Tyvek® which are printed, glued, welded or sewn can recycled. This includes banners, signs, envelopes and other print products made with Tyvek®.
